Test 2.1 - Fundamental Rights and Duties

Here is Test No. 1 on Fundamental Rights and Duties.

1. The age of majority in Spain is 16 years old

2. Spaniards who obtain nationality through residence must wait three years to be able to vote in elections

3. Young people have the right to participate freely in the political development of the country

4. Political parties must function democratically

5. Someone can be forced to say what their political or religious ideas are

6. A person's right to enter and leave Spain freely may be limited for ideological reasons

7. Primary education (from 6 to 12 years) is free and compulsory

8. The Constitution guarantees the right of Spaniards to decent housing

9. In Spain the police can enter any house without a court order at any time

10. The confidentiality of communications of Spaniards is guaranteed, except by judicial resolution.

11. All Spaniards, whether adults or minors, have the right to vote in elections.

12. Teachers can teach freely, within the limits of the Constitution

13. The Constitution only recognizes the fundamental rights of Spaniards

14. In Spain there is the death penalty

15. The law limits third parties' access to personal data

16. Freedom of the press is limited by respect for the honor of individuals

17. In Spain, the causes of separation and divorce are regulated by law.

18. All Spaniards pay the same amount of taxes
